I would like to thank the Boise Forest Coalition for their input through the process and I believe that it led us to a final project design that will improve fire risk and stand conditions while minimizing the impacts from the activities to the resources in the area.

This project will improve forest health while also creating jobs and wood products for the region. While we didn’t all come to perfect agreement on the particulars of this project, I believe that we struck a good balance and I greatly appreciate the candid discussion from the group while we worked through the process. Thanks again for all your effort and attention to this project and I look forward to continuing work with the BFC on future projects.

-Jake Strohmeyer
boiseforestcoalition 2018-10-19T11:48:50-07:00 French Hazard Project Decision
